Economically speaking, many middle class conservatives
believe that the conservative republicans are on their
side. There are different levels of middle class but
as a whole this ideal represents a high percentage
of America. They are under the mistaken opinion; that
Bush & Company's plans include them, and that
any liberal leaning government only concentrates on
the lower classes at our expense. Meanwhile, BushCo
and his elite friends are stripping our public coffers
bare while the minority democrats gawk in disbelief.
We are being bamboozled by our government and refuse
to even believe it.
My article Looting of America
only paints the background of the picture. The real
drama, "the fleecing of Americans" will
take many more articles to unveil.
How do the rich stay rich? With the governments help
of course! It's a fun game of Have Vs. Have not.
Let's start by repealing the estate tax so we can
pass the wealth to the next generation of Mr. Have.
Then we will reduce taxes on unearned income like
dividends and capital gains taxes that primarily benefit
the "Haves". Don't forget to cut the corporate
tax, That belongs to the Haves. We need something
more. How about creating tax shelters that only benefit
big corporations and executive 'Haves'. Finally, lets
reduce the income tax rates for the highest incomes.
That's a good start.
Sound familiar? This is the recent fiscal policy enacted
by Mr. Have Junior himself, George Bush.
"So what", you say? "Good for them,
that doesn't affect me."
How do you think this caper is funded? By cutting
back on healthcare, Medicare, social security, education.
Privatizing public resources, outsourcing American
jobs and breaking unions. THEN
cover up the
scheme by buying up The Media!
Still not convinced this affects you. Who do you believe
pays the 321 billion-dollar yearly interest bill that
services our national debt? We do. And who recieves
the income from the interest our tax dollar pays for
? Wealthy bond owners. Who`s plan was it to take Clinton`s
budget surplus and hand it to the rich and run a larger
deficit? BushCo and the Haves.
I don't begrudge capitalists from practicing capitalism
but I am outraged by the governments participation
in increasing the gap between the economic classes
and facilitating the decline of the middle class American
Dream.
So what do we do about this. Ill tell you where to
start in my next article.
