4/13/03 - Its been a long time since I went to Boston , The last time was with Kyle back in Chilly Feb `98 when we stayed in this Posh hotel that was an entire block long, I decided at 4am to go find the 'sausage guy' cart walking around the entire hotel and lo and behold .... Those cart guys pack it in waaaayyy before 4am...brrrrrr.....

Anyway came back from a pretty cool weekend in Boston. We stayed at the best western which is right off the highway and on the T (bostons above/below subway) <--click for map

At first I was kinda frustrated as I thought we were a million miles from anything and all the streets in Boston are so goddamned cockeyed , and up hilly and down curvy and just basicly screwed up. I was missing NYC in a big way, this place just makes no freaking sense.

Well, armed with my trusty maps , I figured this place out. We went to the Museum of Fine Arts which was pretty cool , greek and roman sculptures, eqyptian antiquities ,some cool renaissance art , a lot of Monet and other impressionists.

The next day we hit the Museum of Science in Science Park which was real cool, spent all day there and actually only saw 1/2 the place. You get kinda caught up in their brain buzzing exhibits. We saw a lighting show , a what drugs really do to you exhibit, a virtual fish tank , mathematics exhibits that were surprisingly interesting and numerous other OH WOWs `

Sat night we ate at Marche`s. What a cool restaurant. Killer food all made fresh right in front of you. You get a ticket/bill that they stamp as you order. You order by walking around the market and picking out what you want for dinner. I had Suschi , fresh caesar salad made in front of me , and killer Chicken Stroganoff with Rosti Potatoes (shredded buttered spiced potatoes) and strawberry cheesecake. Check out there website as I can`t describe how cool this place was. It was in an upscale, I can`t afford it mall , but was reasonably priced. 3 people $65 tax and tip inclusive and we ate GOOD !

WE didn`t take a whole lot of pictures but here they are CLICK

If you have a boston story or idea feel free to email me.
