February 2007 - Off to Vegas -

1/12/07-- Lori and I are going to VEGAS Feb 3rd to Feb 10th - it turns out its superbowl weekend (didn`t realize when I booked it ) but it should be killa anyway I already booked 2 circus de suleil shows - Mystere and O -

I was looking for a show to do on Sunday . Our first full day/night there and I couldn`t find anything even though the shows said they run sundays. I then , on a whim , type into google , SUPERBOWL 2007- sure enough - Sunday 10th , is the superbowl. I booked a trip to vegas in between my slow time at work , but prior to valentines day to avoid the rush and craziness only to book the vacation during the DAMN SUPERBOWL> Whats worse , friends who never visit me in CT are coming up that weekend for the UFC fights and the Superbowl. All winter , have nothing going on . book a trip to vegas , and now we`re leaving when we would actually have something to do. OH well... watching the superbowl in vegas should be cool. I`ll just go online and find out where the best place is to watch the game.

What superbowl ...in vegas , whats that - oh you mean the BIG GAME - Vegas can no longer due to pressure from the NFL , advertise Superbowl parties , and cannot play the game on Big TV screens (they picked a particular size screen that cannot be used) Also , searching online for the elusive big game parties is frustrating coz it seems like no one knows about it unless they are there. Wonderful...I planned the hell out of this vacation , I knew on MOn , Fri - going to shows - tue night -going downtown , Sat and Thru - big drinking party night and which clubs I want to hit - Knew that wed we were renting a car and going to hoover dam etc; But I can`t seem to plan The biggest sports event of the year and the town known for it . DAMN !!!!
